Baby Shower Photo Garland
I hosted a baby shower for my dear friend Elizabeth this weekend in Charlottesville. I wanted a way to display baby pictures of the parents-to-be and Flannery suggested making a photo garland/banner! I found some inspiration on Etsy (of course!) and headed to Michael's. I love the Martha Stewart collection at Michael's - she seems to have exactly what I need, no matter what the craft is. If you need a cheap, easy & quick decoration for any type of event, this is the craft for you!
Here's what I ended up purchasing:
glue stick
1/8" white satin ribbon
1/8" hole punch
Martha Stewart's "Mat Pad"
Martha's (we're on a first name basis) Mat Pad comes in various themes & colors. I chose the baby boy pack. They are the perfect size to mat 4x6 photos and there are 24 pieces in each pack.
So, I glued each of the baby pictures on a piece of paper. I hole punched two holes at the top of each paper and then strung them on the ribbon! I made two garland's - one with pictures hanging vertically and one with pictures hanging horizontally. I alternated photos of Elizabeth & Andrew. It took me no more than an hour - EASY!!! If I do say so myself, they turned out pretty adorable.

Vintage Inspired Baby Shower
The Three Sisters threw a vintage inspired baby shower over the holiday. Here are some pictures from the event. We were all thrilled by how it turned out including the mom-to-be.
Our favors were vintage cookies from Fancy Lady Cookies and bookmarks from Sassy Sadie Lee.
The fabulous vintage garland also came from Sassy Sadie Lee.
We used vintage baby planters from our own collections to hold the flowers.
My personal favorite were the tissue paper pom poms from Anne Musing Designs inspired by this Danielle Thompson Photography designed vintage baby shower. Recognize the napkins on the table?
How cute are these precious cupcakes? They were made by our good friend, Leah Eiden.
