Re-creating a hot item: Fabric Headbands

Our friend Deb is in town this weekend from Ohio with her frugal, finance-guy husband (and friend of Garland's, surprised?). Their request for the Three Sisterz?  Recreate the fabric headbands that are hot items by them in Cleveland.   So while the frugal finance guys took the kids to see Despicable Me, Deb and I set out to make these cute headbands.  Um, so cute.... and also Deb's first sewing project...E.V.E.R.

Here's Deb learning the merits of a sewing gauge.

Here's me showing Deb how to use the sewing gauge.  (oooh..see my new pink flamingo paint-by-number in the background?)

Ginger and me while Deb irons.

And the finished product!  How cute!

A look at the other side.  They are reversible, see.

The other side.  Love it.

What do you think?
