the week started poorly

for me

but it's ending

nicely.

really nicely.

three sisterz had a record week.

yesterday, we sent out 4 packages.

fourcountemonetwothreefour.

wow. that's a first.

thank you to the sweet customers

who made that possible.

it made me smile and my sisters

celebrated in chicago together.

then we were asked to make

a sibling st. patrick's day set

(thanks caroline;)

and we are so excited

to make it.

a dress and a onesie in

kelly green and navy.

LOVE it!

today i came up with this

super, super cute applique

and i CAN NOT wait

to get it on some pink shirts tomorrow.

can.not.wait.

a boy version is coming too.

how cute is the bow though?

the floral is vintage fabric.

i finally got up the nerve to cut into

my stash which also made me happy.

Say hello to the oldest Tooth Fairy Pillow

in the universe.

Our mom, being the sentimental keeper of all

things in our childhood, brought this to my oldest

when her teeth started to fall out.

As cute as it is...

we were in need of a little update.

I mean... it's more than 30 years old.

This little gingham cutie is gonna be retired to

a knick knack shelf in the girls' room.

Plus, my niece (Flannery's daughter) is getting to the age

when her teeth are gonna start falling out so she needs one too.

Complete with pom pom fringe, of course.

And a little embroidery to make it extra handmade.

Even though my precious little nephew (Molly's son)

is years away from losing teeth~

in fact, he's still doesn't have them all!

well, he needs one too.

How ca-ute is that baseball fabric?!

An Etsy Friend

I met a new friend, Keri... and she sews these darling place mats. When I picked up my finished items they were so beautifully wrapped and my girls love the dogs. Super easy to wash and adds some whimsy to the table. You can find her here.

New In The Studio: SPRING!

I don't know about you guys, but the Three Sisterz are really looking forward to SPRING! Call it what you want - Snowmageddon, Snowpocalypse, Snownami, Snowtastic, we are ready for it to be OVER!

::Shamrock Appliques in the Etsy shop::

:: FREE Pattern :: Shamrock Appliques

Remember our pieced heart applique tutorial?

Well top 'o the mornin' to ya cause we're doing pieced shamrocks now!  

But with a twist.  We wanted to add a girly touch, some sweet greens with pink. 

Our girls need some pink.

Following the same rules as the original tutorial, we pieced these fabrics together, ironed the heat n bond LITE on.  Then we made a shamrock stencil and traced it on to the heat 'n bond and cut.  Thing is, it's so hard to find shapes that you like for appliques.  

Do you agree?  Here is our shape that we use for our SHAMROCKS (pdf).  

Cute, no?

And for the more traditional set, we're playing around with different greens.

This one reminds me of the seventies but in a fun, funky way!
