Amy Butler, Silhouette SD. Have you met?

Oh.My.Goodness.

I got a 'lot' of Amy Butler from OnlineFabricStore.net and when Mary Larkin spied the PURPLE in it, she had.to.have a shirt.  And of course it was THE perfect way to practice using the Silhouette with interfacing.

Mary Larkin has no problem sitting for photo shoots.

We used Silhouette's brand of interfacing but it seemed so similar to Heat 'n Bond.

Wonder if that would work, too?

The flower is one of their free shapes.

Think we have a career as a kid model or just a goofball?

Work it girl.

Our photoshoot was interrupted by a Jane-sighting. Jane is our neighbor and Mary Larkin's faaaavvvvoooorrrrite. She about hyperventilates when there is a Jane-sighting.

Cabochon Earrings + Silhouette Machine=Happy

Take a look at these little pretties.

I've seen these cabochon earrings on Etsy and thought I'd try my hand at them.  

And, well, per the usual.  I. can't. stop.

I also decided they needed a little home.

So I whipped out my Silhouette machine.

And when I say "whipped out" I mean I spent a few hours designing and cutting these bad boys out.

And look at 'em all!  Would you believe me if I told you I have a WHOLE NOTHER batch of cabochons coming?!

Silhouette Heat Transfer for Baby Marco

So, it's busy here in Chicago--so busy that I have S.E.V.E.N. little girls staying at my house right now.  Three of mine, three of Court's and our good, good 9 year old friend from Massachusetts.  **THANK GOODNESS** I wrote this blog post a week or two ago in preparation........

When Georgia, one of our most loyal blog readers, shared that she was expecting a baby boy, my brain went into overdrive.  Usually with baby gifts, I try to give something either very classic (silver rattle anybody?) or something practical.  But with Georgia, I knew she would appreciate something Three Sisterz made.  

Enter: My Silhouette obsession.

I pretty much knew what I wanted to do right away.

I don't know why this idea popped itself into my brain.

Nevertheless, I thought collectively these onesies would be a nice addition to baby Marco's wardrobe.

I used the black heat transfer and shapes from the Silhouette store.

I've never really gotten the mustache thing, but then I made this and I was hooked.

Jumped ahead to Halloween and made a size 6 months.

And just a little bit further down the line a size 9 months turkey.

And for fun, a bike.  I'm mildly obsessed with all of the bikes I'm seeing in blogland.  

Actually, I'm mildly obsessed with a lot of things but we'll save that for another day, another spastic blog post.

And because we can't forget Momma, she gets some sweet cabochon earrings that is also my new obsession.  Thank you to SnapCrafty on Etsy.  Her shop is the B.O.M.B.

More Silhouetting-This time for a verrrry special goddaughter.

Dear Maeve,

We love you.

You are sweet.

You are tough.

You are fun.

But. you. are. trouble.

Mary Larkin and I decided you needed a cute shirt. And instead of a four shirt for your approaching birthday, we thought we'd celebrate your spunkiness. (Is that a word?)

We used black heat transfer from Silhouette.

(and by 'we' I mean 'me' of course)

Then we modeled a bit so that we could show the blogging world how cute it turned out.

Mom, can I touch it?  Does it really stick?

Oh, Mary Larkin, it sticks so well that the inside of the e that I weeded out (official Silhouette phrase, trust) got stuck on the underside of the shirt during the ironing process.

But Maeve will never notice because all she'll see is a CE-YOOT fun new shirt celebrating her.  WE LOVE YOU MAEVE!
