My 2010 New Year's Resolution...

I think I may have figured out what my hobby should be!  I saw this book at a local paper & gifts store before the holidays, but I decided not to buy it.  I couldn't stop thinking about it, so I went and bought it for myself yesterday!

It's basically a beginner's guide to making all sorts of wire and beaded jewelry.   I've picked out two projects from the book to start with:

And a necklace (I'm in love with this one!)...

After I bought the book, I headed to Michael's to buy all the supplies!  Here are some of the things I purchased:

Michael's did not have everything I needed, so I purchased several things online at Fire Mountain Gems. Now, all I need to do is practice, practice, practice!  The most difficult part (I think) is going to be learning how to work with the tools and wire!
