Some Texas inspiration from this sister....

This sister is in San Antonio, TX right now visiting family.  I went to the zoo yesterday and made a beeline for my favorite, favorite, favorite exhibits: the Pink Flamingos and the Scarlet Ibis birds.  Anyone want to take a guess why they are my favorite?  Here is a HINT.  Well, okay, there are probably several reasons: Red (and any variation of) is my favorite color; I love all things 1950's; I just recently acquired a pink flamingo paint-by-number thanks to my m-i-l; these birds remind me of why I love Amy Butler and Heather Bailey.
